Noscars - Progressive dinner

Last friday my youth group and I had a progressive dinner. I got a Noscar! Uhh!:D
It was a great night!:)

Earthquake

A couple of hours ago I felt my very first earthquake!
I was sitting on the couch watching this really good movie and then I heard a noise like the train is passing. I was looking out the window but nothing was there. And then the couch started moving...
Man, that was so creepy!!!
It last for about 27 seconds and apperently it was a 5.7 earthquake.
But everything is fine, nothing happened!!!:)

Cissy Bay

Last weekend was the wedding annivesary of Sam & Chris. So from friday to sunday we were at Cissy Bay. We stayed in a little bach and went out on the boad. It was a really nice weekend! We saw dolphins again and I discovered that I can take panorama pictures with my camera.:D

I am back... again:D

Hello everybody!

Well, here I am again.:D
A lot of things happened in the last weeks.

We were biscuiting. That is a lot of fun!!! And I fell in the water:D
And then we saw dolphins! Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh!:) That was sooooooooooooo AWESOME! They were just so graceful and ahhh.. just amazing! There were about 15 of them. I could have gone swimming with them but I didn't.. I don't know why...

I already had my last actual school day. Yeah! All the other gils in year 11, 12 and 13 are doing NCEA at the moment. I am doing a programm with the other exchange students. I'll start tomorrow. Well, actually it starts last friday, kind of. I went to a primary school and helped the teacher and all the little children were asking me questions. Like: "What kind of clothes do you wear in German?" And about food and stuff. :)

On saturday there was a big firework in Blenheim. We had dinner with some friends and went up a little hill to watch the fireworks. That was a nice moment. It felt like new year to me. :)

On sunday we went to Whites Bay and then to Robin Hood Bay. At Robin Hood Bay we went boogie boarding and diving. It was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing!!! Well,m I was wearing my wetsuit bit this is a short one. So my legs and my arms where quite cold. But it was really fun!!!

Yesterday I skyped with my family because it was Mamas birthday. It was great to see them again!:)

So, everything is good here! I really enjoy it to be here and it's just AWESOME!!! :)

It's getting warmer and warmer and I already have a tainline from my shorts and the sun. :D But I wasn't sunburned yet!:D

Boy

Yesterday Beth and I went to a party. There were two main actors of 'Boy'. 'Boy' is famous here in New Zealand. Everybody knows the movie. And I met James Rolleston, who played Boy and RickyLee Waipuka-Russell she played Chardonnay. I talked to them, got pictures, autographs and a hug from James Rolleston (well, it was quite awkward 'cause he is two years younger than me:D). But it was soooooooo exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

All right. I couldn't find any time to write on here in the last days. Sorry! But now I am back :D So.. I am very good! At the moment I have holidays for two weeks. Sometimes it's quite boring, because all my friends are studying for NCEA. So they don't have relly time to do anything. But I've done some things with my host family. We went to Pine Valley, fishing, and I went up to the top of Mt Vernon, Wither Hills. I'll put some picures on here... See you all soon, Aileen:)

Australia vs. Russia

Gestren ware ich beim Rugby game Australia vs. Russia in Nelson. Es war einfach nur gut! Zwar war das Wetter nicht gerade granate aber naja.  Es war toll ein Rugby game live zu sehen, die ganzen Sachen die man sonst nur im TV sieht vor den eigenen Augen. Wie sich alle gegenseitig umrennen. Hach.... das war einfach nur total gut! :)
Wir waren für Russia. Denn in Neulseeland ist man für zwei Teams: Für Neuseeland oder das Team, das gegen Australien spielt. :D
Einmal meinte ein Australier: "Aussi, Aussi, Aussi, Oy, Oy, Oy!" Und dann ein Neuseeländer: " Go back home!" Und solch Zeugs...
Aber ich habe ein Foto mit dem Australischen Rugby Coach.:D

Wairau Lagoons

Am Samstag waren wir bei den Wairau Lagoons. Nur war da nicht wirklich Wasser drin... Aber es war sooooo schön!:)
